The Weathering Collective is the mothership of Community Weathering Station. CoWS is a site specific project led by Jen Hamilton on Anaiwan Country in Armidale from 2019; whereas The Weathering Collective was the group in Sydney who first gathered to experiment in how to practically apply the concept of weathering to activities in 2015.
for the 2022 Biennale of Sydney The Weathering Collective was Invited by Lleah Smith to lead a “Water Lesson”. Tessa Zettel and Jen Hamliton offered up some of the original weathering collective activities as part of a lovely afternoon in Sydney (june 12, 2022).
