Tessa’s studio day

on wednesday 16th july we spent the day in Tessa’s studio in Petersham discussing the design of the images for a big day of printing on friday 18th. tessa has to evacuate her studio in two weeks because a real estate agent that has two big houses next door wants to turn the old church into his house. Sydney, i’m back for 20 mins and you’re already unsurprisingly frustrating. Also pretty. But we also went to a cafe in petersham for lunch and ran into Paul dwyer who did the “bougainville photoplay project at the old fitz before I became an academic. This was the first performance lecture i saw and i loved the genre. so it was a nice coincindence to remember the project and the genre.

We decided to print posters and bookmarks as well. like a little bit of merch for the book. It’s exciting to be reconnecting with art making again.
